Planning with ADHD
A week planner for when it all lives in your head
If your to-do list is a swirl of half-remembered jobs, starting is the hardest part. Pour it all out at once; Cadie turns it into a plan you can follow one tap at a time.

A planner, not medical advice. Cadie doesn't diagnose or treat ADHD. If you're looking for support with ADHD itself, talk to a doctor or a qualified specialist.
Why planning can feel impossible
Lots of people with ADHD describe the same loop. The week is full of things to do, all of them are in your head at once, and none of them has a clear first step. A planner with empty boxes adds another job: deciding what goes where. So the planning waits, and the week happens anyway.
Time can be slippery too. A task that "takes five minutes" takes forty, the evening disappears, and tomorrow's list is longer than today's. Plans built for perfect days break on the first real one.
Cadie is built around that loop. You don't organise anything: you empty your head, answer a couple of taps, and the organising is done for you.
How Cadie helps
Less deciding, more doing
One brain dump, no forms
Type or say everything at once, in any order, half-sentences welcome. There are no fields, categories or colours to choose.
Few questions, sometimes none
Cadie only asks what would change the plan, up to four quick taps, and never asks the same thing twice.
Today shows only today
Morning, afternoon, evening, and what's up next. The rest of the week stays out of sight until you want it.
Done is one tap
Stamp a sticker and it's done, with a soft pop. From a reminder, the Done button works without opening the app.
A timer for one thing
Start focus on a single task and Cadie keeps you company until it's done. Pause, add five minutes, or finish early.
Nudges, not nagging
Reminders are off until you turn them on. When one comes, it's a gentle nudge with a Done button right in it.
When the day runs away
Plans that bend instead of break
After noon, if you're behind, Cadie offers to rescue the rest of today. What still fits stays at a new time; the rest moves to calmer days this week.
- Low on energy? Say so in the morning and flexible jobs move to later days, while daily habits stay
- Feeling great? Pull one thing forward from tomorrow

No guilt built in
Missed a day? Carry on.
Cadie never tells you off, and to-dos never show a count of days late. Streaks forgive one missed day in seven, and a fresh week is always one brain dump away.
Cadie also remembers what you've told her, like "meal prep on Sunday" or when you start work, so planning next week takes even fewer taps. You can see and forget anything she knows in Settings.
Questions
Questions about planning with ADHD
Is Cadie an ADHD app?
Cadie is a week planner for anyone whose week lives in their head. Many of its choices, like one brain dump, very few questions, one-tap stamping and no guilt, came from thinking about how ADHD brains plan. It is not a medical, diagnostic or treatment app.
Can Cadie help with ADHD symptoms?
Cadie doesn't diagnose, treat or manage any condition, and it is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or specialist. What it can do is take the planning step off your plate, so the week has a shape you can follow.
Do I have to plan every day?
No. You plan once for the week, and Today shows what's next each day. When something changes, tell Cadie in a sentence and she redraws the week.
What if I ignore the app for a few days?
Nothing bad happens. Cadie never scolds. One missed day in seven is frozen so your streak holds, and you can plan a fresh week whenever you're ready.
Can I use it without notifications?
Yes. Reminders are opt-in. Without them, the home-screen widget and Cadie's morning note in the app show what the day holds.
